Tip your hat to the D'backs!

The Arizona Diamondbacks had a great season and I'm looking forward to next year and a full season for rookie sensation Paul Goldschmidt. He's a keeper! Tonight, it was that old home-field advantage. It does make a difference.

Still, the D'backs had the Brewers and their fans squirming. After Gerardo Parra opened the ninth inning with a double to center field, Sean Burroughs followed with a single to left field and Willie Bloomquist came up with the safety squeeze, it looked like the Diamondbacks were en route to another come-from-behind-win. Unfortunately, Aaron Hill struck out, Justin Upton hit into a force play and Henry Blanco followed with another force out to end the top half of the ninth. As it turns out, the squeeze play ended up producing the Diamondbacks final run of the season.
