David Freese hits a walk-off homer over the center field fence in the bottom of the 11th inning to give the St. Louis Cardinals a 10-9 victory tonight over the Texas Rangers in Game 6 of the World Series in front of a packed house at Busch Stadium.
The blast by Freese extends the World Series to seven games and the Rangers and Cardinals will do it all over again tomorrow night. The first Game 7 in a World Series in nine years! Nineteen runs, 28 hits and five errors in four hours and 33 minutes.
Wow! What a game!
