Texas in; Milwaukee will rely on its home-field advantage

The Texas Rangers head back to the World Series. The Rangers rolled over the the injury-riddled Detroit Tigers, 15-5, last night in Arlington. So, now we await the Milwaukee Brewers fate as they host the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 6 tonight in Milwaukee. The Brewers won 57 home games doing the regular season, the best in baseball this year. And of course, the Brewers added a few more victories in the postseason by disposing of the Arizona Diamondbacks in the National League Division series. Can the Brewers win two more at home? The home-cooking should help, but the Rangers are rocking and have the momentum.

It'll take the Milwaukee fans, the Milwaukee bats and a lucky bounce, or two, for the Brewers to get it done. My gut feeling: it'll be a Cardinals-Rangers World Series.
