Tucson Toros remain unbeaten at MSBL World Series
Men's Senior Baseball League World Series
65-and-over Cactus division
Tucson Toros
The Tucson Toros beat the Puget Sound Mariners 10-4 today at the Salt River Complex in Scottsdale to move to 5-0 at the Men's Senior Baseball League World Series.
Tim Tolson (Tucson Old Timers) went 2 for 4 today and Joe Opocensky (Tucson Old Timers) walked once and scored a run. Arnold Mares (Tucson Old Pueblo Club) was the winning pitcher and is now 2-0 at the senior World Series.
The Toros qualify for the playoffs and are the only team with an unblemished record in the 65-and-over Cactus division.
The Toros await their playoff foe. They will need to win three more games to grab the title -- a playoff game on Thursday and then a doubleheader on Friday.
