Pigpen bats .471 in first MSBL World Series in 73-and-over division

Pigpen Price played for the newly-formed San Antonio Red Sox this week at the Men's Senior Baseball League World Series in the oldest division -- the 73-and-over division.
"I had a great time at the senior World Series in Phoenix this year," Price said, after completing his 11th game in 12 days -- six games in the 70-and-over division and five games in the 73-and-over codger's division.
Price went 8 for 17 and three walks this week in the five games for a respectable .471 average.
"I can't wait til next year," Price added. "Participating every day for two weeks with my teammates, all of us playing for the love of the game."
