Reed Palmer went 3 for 3 and hit a two-run homer -- his 23rd round-tripper of the season, to lead Team Blue to a 6-5 win over Team White today in a 60-and-over Tucson Old Timers game at Udall Park.
Palmer's blast broke the club's single-season home record and the hard-hitting lefty still has close to three months left in the season -- plenty of time to add to the record.
Mike Dawson and Ron Ryan had three hits apiece for Team White. Dawson and Palmer pitched complete games with Palmer getting the win and Dawson the loss.
The TOTS return to action on Monday at Udall. Game time: 9 a.m.
