Tate-less Wildcats fall to Utes

It took til the seventh game of the season, but the injury to quarterback Khalil Tate finally became too much to overcome tonight in Salt Lake City. After a few token snaps with Jamarye Joiner behind center, coach Kevin Sumlin finally went to Rhett Rodriquez.

As for the score, a lopsided 42-10 win for the Utah Utes as Arizona falls to 3-4 overall and 2-2 in the Pac-12 Conference.

As for Rodriquez, the son of former Wildcat coach Rich Rodriquez, he tried to right the ship a bit, going 20 for 38 for 226 yards -- including a fourth-quarter 42-yard TD pass to Cedric Peterson.
