Let's call the Wildcats the "Magnificent Seven" after last week's two road wins

Bookemdano will refer to the Arizona Wildcats as the "Magnificent Seven" this week due to their two amazing wins in the Bay Area last week over California and Stanford. With Colorado coming to town on Thursday and the Utah Utes on Saturday, one, or two, or three of the rotating seven will need to step up and lead us to wins 17 and 18, putting a little more of a hold on an NCAA invite, not to mention a good showing at McKale will move us up the Pac-12 standings.

Yul Brynner, portrayed the character Chris in the 1960 movie Magnificent Seven (hard to believe the flick came out 52 years ago), the leader of the pack of good-old-boy gunfighters, each one of them having had a good reason for putting their life on the line as they road in and saved the day for the residents of a Mexican village. It's just the right time for our Wildcat gunslingers to put the ball in the hoop and take it to the Buffaloes and the Utes. The seven: Kyle Fogg, Josiah Turner, Nick Johnson, Solomon Hill, Jesse Perry, Angelo Chol and Brendon Lavender. Go, 'Cats!
