As I said in a previous post, Johnny Field has a cool name and it will be interesting to watch the young man play baseball for the Arizona Wildcats. Tonight at Hi Corbett Field, Johnny goes 4 for 4, including two doubles and a triple as Arizona wins its opener 3-1 over North Dakota State. The Wildcats' starting pitcher Kurt Heyer gets the win, allowing just one run in seven innings. A crowd of 4,000 cheered on the 'Cats tonight. Good crowd, good result. Congrats, Wildcats!
