Here they come...

The 64 golfers participating in the 2012 WGC Accenture Golf Tournament should be packing their bags this weekend, preparing for their flight to Tucson.

The official announcement regarding the players and the first-round brackets should be out soon (Saturday, as a matter of fact...Monday final bracket alignment). The Accenture Match Play Championship, which is the first in a series of four World Golf Championships events in 2012, has been played in the Tucson area since 2007 and at The Ritz-Carlton Golf Club, Dove Mountain since 2009.

"The Donald" as in Luke Donald will be here to defend his 2011 title. As for Tiger Woods, it was announced Tuesday that he will be here. As for the weather, sunny and mild for most of the tourney, possible rain showers on the final day.
