Vintage baseball

TOTS Senior Baseball Network (TSBN)

The 60-and-over Tucson Aces may get a chance at playing vintage baseball this winter. If it works out the Aces will tangle with the Phoenix Senators, using rules and regulations from the 19th century. The real Phoenix Senators played ball back in 1915. Wood bats with no tape are used by the current version of the Senators. No batting gloves or sunglasses allowed. Regular-sized baseballs are used, under hand or over hand pitching allowed. So, for all you "softies" on the Aces, get your knuckles warmed up. Times and places for the game, or games, yet to be announced.
