Blue Ridge wins 4th consecutive soccer title

Lakeside Blue Ridge from Pinetop won its fourth consecutive Boys State High School soccer title with a 2-0 win over Tucson Desert Christian today at Campo Verde High School in Gilbert. Blue Ridge scored both goals on penalty kicks by Clayton Crain -- one with just three minutes gone in the second half and the final goal during the 69th minute. Blue Ridge made it a clean sweep today as the Blue Ridge girls won 4-2 over Desert Christian to take the title.
