Teammates again...

Two players on the Tucson Old Timers (TOTS) 60-and-over baseball team were teammates 42 years ago. Tim Tolson and Jeff Rein are the youngest players on the TOTS, an organized baseball club which plays three days a week at Udall Park. Tim and Jeff were teammates on the Sahuaro High School team in 1970. Both are now 60 years of age and both can still recall the days when they took the field for the Cougars. "It was a long time ago," Rein said. "I played outfield and Tim was a first baseman." Tim likes having his former teammate as a member of the TOTS. "My father (Brad Tolson) recently retired from active duty as a TOT after 21 years. So I'm the new kid on the block, along with Jeff.  Jeff just joined the club and it's great to have a former Sahuaro alum on the team." Tim lead the TOTS in home runs this year and Jeff, well he's just getting his feet wet, so to speak. Go TOTS and go Cougars!
