Pre-Turkey Day Game of the Week
"Thunder" Tim Tolson knocked in two runs, walked once and went 2 for 3 to lead the TOTS Team Blue to an 8-3 win today at Udall Park over Team White. Arnie "Cowboy" White pitched seven innings and out-dueled Dennis "Wheels" Crowley to pick up the win. Team Blue scored four runs in the bottom of the first inning and received key hits from their version of "Murderer's Row" as the middle of the order of Doc "Cyclone Kid" Thompson, White and Tolson got the job done. White made the play of the day when he caught a come-backer off the bat of Chico "Rubber Arm" Bigham in the top of the fifth inning. Team White just couldn't get anything going throughout the game and "Cowboy" White ended the day by striking out the final two batters. The TOTS' baseball club resumes action on Monday.
