Men's Senior Baseball League World Series
After five straight days of action at the MSBL World Series in the 70-and-over Central Division, the Tucson Toros will take a 3-2 record and a third seed into Friday's playoffs -- just two wins away from the championship game to be held on Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Fitch Park in Mesa.
First up: The Toros take on the 6th-seeded Cal Vet team Friday morning at 10 a.m. The winner advances to a semi-final game at 2 p.m. The two semi-final winners advance to the title game on Saturday.
Way to go, Toros (especially our two TOTS' members Doc Thompson and Ernesto "Doc" Escala).
