Tampa Bay Rays advance to MLB World Series

 American League Championship Series


The Tampa Bay Rays defeated the Houston Astros 4-2 tonight in San Diego to win Game 7 of the ALCS and advance to the 2020 World Series. The Rays will take on either the  LA Dodgers or Atlanta Braves in Game 1 scheduled for Tuesday, Oct. 20 at Glove Life Field in Arlington, Texas.

The Dodgers and Braves play Game 7 of the NLCS tomorrow in Arlington after the Dodgers tied the series at 3-3 with a 3-1 win today, thanks to a home run from Corey Seager and six scoreless innings from Walker Buehler.

In San Diego, the Rays were all smiles as Charlie Morton shutdown the Astros for 5 2/3 innings tonight, while Tampa Bay's Randy Arozarena hit a two-run shot, his seventh postseason home run, and Mike Zunino also homered.
