Tucson Toros fall to 2-2 with 13-5 loss to Moondogs at MSBL WS

Men's Senior Baseball League World Series

65-and-over Cactus 1 Division

The Tucson Toros lost 13-5 to the Lehigh Valley Moondogs today at the Goodyear Stadium and fall to 2-2 in round-robin play at the Men's Senior Baseball league World Series.

John Mathews and Tim Tolson hit safely today, but Ken Nebesny, Joe Opocensky and Mike Dawson struggled at the plate. Opocensky came up with another hamstring pull this afternoon and is doubtful for tomorrow.

The Toros, including the "Big 5" from the 60-and-over Tucson Old Timers, need a win over the Senators Wednesday in Peoria to have a shot at the playoffs. Game time: 1 p.m. at the Seattle Mariners annex field #4.

Good luck, Toros. Go get 'em!
