MLB down to Final Four

Major League Baseball Postseason

After a wild Wild Card round involving 16 teams, followed by a bunch of nail-biting, action-packed division series, we have our Final Four for the shortened 2020 MLB season.

The Atlanta Braves and the LA Dodgers will play next week in the National League Championship Series, while the Houston Astros will tangle with the Tampa Bay Rays in the American League Championship Series.

The final piece of the puzzle was set in place just moments ago as the Rays beat the New Yankees 2-1 in the fifth game of the ALDS in San Diego. And what a game it was as Mike Brosseau drilled an Aroldis Chapman fastball over the left field fence in the 8th inning to break the 1-1 tie and send the Yankees packing.

Next up: Game 1 of the ALCS on Sunday in San Diego, while Game 1 of the NLCS gets underway on Monday in Arlington, Texas.

Seven games will be played in seven days to determine which two teams advance to the 2020 World Series, set for October, 20-28.
