Oklahoma knocks of Texans in second-round game at MSBL World Series, 14-4

Men's Senior baseball League World Series

The San Antonio Texans couldn't get the bats going today in the second round of the Men's Senior Baseball League World Series. In Peoria, the Texans tangled with the Oklahoma Sooners and dropped their second game of the senior World Series by a score of 14-4.

Bob Daliege and Mike Steele went 0 for 2, while Bill Mishler grabbed the only hit today for the TOTS' trio. Pete Peters is still sidelined with a back injury, but hopes to catch for his buddy, Daliege,  on Wednesday against Colorado, a team that has outscored both of its opponents, 40-0, and sits atop the 70-and-over Central Division standings with a 2-0 record.

It's back to Peoria tomorrow for the Texans as they play a 2 p.m. game against a winless Cal Vet team -- a team that's given ups 46 runs in two games.

Good luck, guys. Go get 'em!
