The Kansas City Royals are heading for the World Series.

The Royals edge Baltimore in Kansas City today, 2-1. They return to the World Series after 29 years of frustration. Kansas City won it all in 1985.

This year, they have the momentum to do it again. Eight straight postseason wins -- a wild card win, a sweep in the ALDS and a 4-0 run in the ALCS.
