The San Francisco Giants held on to defeat Washington 3-2 tonight in San Francisco and advance to the National League Championship Series and will face the St Louis Cardinals in the series' opener on Saturday.

So, it's down to four -- Kansas City and Baltimore in the ALCS and the Giants and the Cardinals in NLCS.

Hats off to the former Diamondback Matt Williams, the manager of the Nationals. It was a great year for Washington and Williams.
