Red Deer Legends 26 Tucson Aces 6

MSBL World Series

65-and-over-division

Tucson Aces

The Tucson Aces jumped out to a 5-2 lead in the top of the third inning over the Red Deer Legends from Canada, but couldn't hold off the Canadians in the later innings and fall 26-6 in the first round of the 65-and-over division at the MSBL World Series.

Playing at the Cleveland Indians' spring training complex in Goodyear, the Aces gave up three runs in the fourth inning on a bases-loaded double. Aces' starter Arnie White left the mound after four innings with the game tied a 5-all, but the next four innings the Canadian bats came alive and outscored Tucson 21-1 the rest of the way.

Brian Reilly, playing in his first ever MSBL World Series, had two hits in his first two trips to the plate to lead the Aces.

The Aces travel to Scottsdale tomorrow for a second-round game against Team America. Game time: 10 a.m. at Salt River, field 4.
