Orioles move on to ALCS



MLB Playoffs


The Baltimore Orioles sweep the Detroit Tigers in the ALDS and move on to the American League Championship Series. The Orioles win the opener at home 12-3, the second game 7-6 and capture today's game in Detroit, 2-1.

The Orioles beat Max Scherzer, Justin Verlander and David Price. They earned it!

Nelson Cruz supplied the game-winner today with a two-run homer in the sixth inning off Price. Bud Norris gets the win, hurling 6 1/3 innings and allowing just two hits. Norris walked two, struck out six and held the Tigers scoreless.
