Wildcats return home with 10-2 record and nationally ranked

Arizona Wildcats Baseball

The Arizona Wildcats (10-2) return home for a three-game series at Hi Corbett on Friday, Saturday and Sunday against Hartford. The Wildcats win 2 of 3 at the Frisco Classic -- losing on the final day to Nebraska, 1-0. The Wildcats then hopped over to Lubbock and took on Texas Tech.

It wasn't pretty as the newly 4th-ranked Wildcats lose to No. 6 Texas Tech on Tuesday, 13-1. Still, a very good start to the season for Arizona as the Wildcats win their first ten games before losing back-to-back games to Nebraska and Texas Tech.

After 12 games, Mitchell Morimoto and Jared Oliva lead the Wildcats with 21 hits while Nick Quintana has 20 hits and JJ Matijevic has hit safely 19 times. Morimoto owns the best batting average at .467 (21 for 45). Matijevic leads in the RBI department with 15.

JC Cloney and Cameron Ming are the top pitchers -- both with identical 3-0 records.
