Arizona (17-7) won a tight battle with Grand Canyon last night at Hi Corbett Field.

The Wildcats beat the Antelopes 3-2. JJ Matijevic led the way at the plate with two hits -- including his 15th double of the season. Seve Romo (1-0) picked up the win in relief of Cody Deason. Landon Faulkner hurled 4.1 scoreless innings to pick up his first save of the season.

The Wildcats stay home and prepare for a three-game Pac-12 series with USC, slated for Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Matijevic leads the Wildcats with 39 hits. JC Cloney (5-0) continues to lead the pitching staff and will go after his sixth win on Friday.
