Arizona wins Pac-12 Tournament Championship

Allonzo Trier scored 23 points and grabbed eight rebounds and Kadeem Allen pumped in 13 points and hauled in seven rebounds to lead Arizona to a 83-80 win and the  Pac-12 Tournament Championship tonight in Las Vegas at the T-Mobile Arena.

Arizona (30-4) led 35-29 at halftime and went on a 18-6 run to start the second half, before the Ducks went on a run of their own and closed the gap to 63-56 with 7:53 remaining in the game.

Oregon kept attacking and closed to 70-66 with 4:30 left and then closed within two with 27 seconds remaining when Jordan Bell grabbed an offensive rebound and scored to make it 79-77.

Trier took over from there.

With 18 seconds remaining, Trier sank two free throws and with 5.4 seconds left went back to the line and sank two more to put Arizona up, 83-77.

Tyler Dorsey hit a 3-pointer at the buzzer.

Dillon Brooks finished with a game-high 25 points and Dorsey added 23.

Trier was named the Pac-12 Tournament"s MVP.
