OSU edges Wildcats, 1-0

College World Series

Bobby Dalbec found himself in a pitching duel with Tyler Buffett at the College World Series in Omaha tonight.

Dalbec struck out 12, allowed five hits, gave up one run and threw 122 pitches in eight innings of work, but Oklahoma State (2-0) edged the Arizona Wildcats 1-0, thanks to a three-hit shutout by Buffett.

A well played game by both teams, but the bottom line: Arizona falls to 1-1 in the CWS and faces an elimination game on Wednesday at 4 p.m. (Arizona time) against the University of California at Santa Barbara (1-1).
