Arizona loses 3rd in a row

Arizona Wildcats Basketball

The Arizona Wildcats lost their third Pac-12 Conference game in a row, falling to UCLA tonight at the Pauley Pavilion, 69-64.

They also lost their coach with 12:28 remaining in the game. Sean Miller was ejected with the Wildcats up, 47-44. Arizona was called for 26 fouls and the Bruins went to the foul line 38 times and made 29 free throws, while the Wildcats were 10 of 16 from the charity stripe.

Arizona led 33-27 at halftime and were up 52-46 when Nico Mannion knocked down a 3-pointer with 10:59 remaining in the game.

Arizona scored just 12 points the rest of the way.

Mannion played his best game in weeks, finishing with 19 points, two rebounds, six assists, two steals and turned the ball over just once as the Wildcats once again played without the services of guard Josh Green.

Another frustrating loss as Arizona falls to the middle of the Pac-12 Conference with a 9-7 record and UCLA bolts to the top of the conference standings at 12-5. The Wildcats are now 19-10 overall and the Bruins have won seven in a row and are 19-11 overall.
