Nailbiter in Corvallis

Arizona Wildcats Basketball

On a night when second-ranked Duke and fourth-ranked Wisconsin fall, it figures the seventh-ranked Arizona Wildcats would find themselves in a nailbiter in Corvallis, Oregon.

Arizona (14-2 overall, 2-1 in Pac 12) loses for the second time this year, falling to the Oregon State Beavers, 58-56. The Beavers shoot 51 percent from the field, while the Wildcats struggle for 40 minutes, hitting just 17 of 45 shots for 37 percent in a low-scoring affair.

And yes, the Oregon State fans stormed the court as the buzzer sounded. An all too familiar scene.

Rondae Hollis-Jefferson led the Wildcats with 14 points, while T.J. McConnell chipped in 13.
