Arizona squeezes out an 8-6 win today at Chase Field, improving a notch to 61-88. If nothing else the D'backs can avoid the 100-loss season with two more wins.

Next up for the Diamondbacks: San Francisco.

The Giants are in town tomorrow night to begin a three-game series with Arizona. The Diamondbacks are playing for pride, the Giants are in a foot race with the LA Dodgers for the NL West title. The Dodgers beat the Giants today and own a three-game lead over the Giants.

The Diamondbacks could put the hurt on the Giants by winning one, two or all three games this week.
