Diamondbacks drop 2 of 3 to Giants

The Arizona Diamondbacks (62-90) are down to their final ten games of the season.

Arizona won the series' opener (6-2) in San Francisco, but lost 2-1 yesterday and 4-2 today and allowed the Giants to stay close to the league-leading LA Dodgers.

As for the Dodgers, they lose 16-2 today in Denver to the Rockies and now hold a slim two-game lead over the Giants.

The Diamondbacks hit the road for a four-game series with the Rockies and close out the road trip with a three-game weekend series at Minnesota. They return home and close out the season with the St. Louis Cardinals.
