Zack Wheeler has a K in his first name.
Zac Gallen doesn't.
That could explain things.
Wheeler struck out eight en route to a 5-3 win over our Arizona Diamondbacks Monday night in Philadelphia, but it turned out to be homers by Bryce Harper, Kyle Schwarber, and Nick Castellanos that led to a Philly 1-0 lead in the best-of-7 NLCS to decide which team heads for the World Series.
Gallen went five innings, allowed five runs, and struck out four. Geraldo Perdomo homered for the Diamondbacks.
Come on, D-backs, bounce back!
The ALCS
There's a problem in Houston.
Texas takes a 2-0 lead in the ALCS with a 5-4 win in Game 2 over the Astros.
