Arizona stuns Washington State, 44-6

 Arizona Wildcats Football

It turned out to be a nice afternoon in Pullman for our Arizona Wildcats as they stunned Washington State, 44-6, today behind quarterback Noah Fifita, who connected on 34 of 43 passes for 342 yards.

Fifita handed off to running back Jonah Coleman for three touchdowns -- one on a 1-yard plunge in the first quarter, one by Rayshon Luke with a 40-yard TD run in the second quarter, another plunge by Coleman in the third, a 15-yard scamper by DJ Williams to start the fourth quarter and Coleman put the finishing touches on the day with a 23-yard scamper with just 6:43 left on the game clock.

Add three field goals and a few extra points in the middle of it all, and there you have it -- a 38-point upset of 19th-ranked Washington State.

The Wildcats gained 516 yards of offense on the day while limiting the Cougars to 234 total yards...and just 35 rushing yards!

Arizona evens its Pac-12 slate at 2-2 and improves to 4-3 overall.

Way to go, Wildcats!
