Diamondbacks shock Dodgers in LA, 11-2

The Arizona Diamondbacks shocked Clayton Kershaw with a six-run first inning and went on to an 11-2 win over the Dodgers in the opener of the National League Division Series tonight in Los Angeles.

It was Kershaw's worst outing of his career, leaving the Diamondbacks in perfect position to win the best-of-5 series with their ace Zac Gallen on the mound in LA on Monday night.

Tommy Pham led the Diamondbacks with three singles and a home run, while teammates Gabriel Moreno, Corbin Carroll, and Alek Thomas also went yard. Merrill Kelly pitched 6.1 innings of shutout ball and allowed just three hits. He walked two and struck out five.

Way to go, Diamondbacks!
