The Arizona Diamondbacks win their opener in Cincinnati tonight and it wasn't easy as usual. The D'backs win 2-1 in the 15th inning, thanks to an RBI-single from shortstop Nick Ahmed.

Chase Anderson hurls another gem tonight with seven innings of work, allowing one run on three hits. He struck out eight and walked two. Oliver Perez (1-1) gets the win in relief, while Addison Reed picks up his 25th save.

Arizona is 13-0 when they play all night, or all-day, however you want to look at it. A perfect 13-0 when the games go 15 innings or more.

Arizona improves to 46-60 and will send Trevor Cahill (1-7) to the mound tomorrow.
