Diamondbacks eye series' win against Tigers

Arizona Diamondbacks

The Arizona Diamondbacks take on the Detroit Tigers this afternoon at Chase Field, looking to take  2 of 3 from the American League Central leader.

The D'backs improved to 44-57 with a  5-4 win over the Tigers last night. Aaron Hill provided the firepower early with three RBI and provided a late, game-saving catch in the ninth inning to help seal the win.

Chase Anderson pitched six innings and allowed just two runs, but it was Eury De La Rosa getting the win in relief and Addison Reed the save.

Note: Guess who's going to the game today? Me, along with some of my TOTS' teammates. It's going to be a hot one in Phoenix -- but the roof will be closed at Chase Field and those $10.00 beers will be a flowing.
