The Arizona Diamondbacks (36-51) salvage 1 of 3 in Pittsburgh -- winning 10-2  today in the final game of the series. Brandon McCarthy (3-10) gets his third win of the year as the Diamondbacks put the finishing touches on the getaway game with seven runs in the ninth inning.

Paul Goldschmidt hit his 30th double of the season and collected his first triple of the year. He drove in two runs. David Peralta had a big day as well with three hits in five trips to the plate. He knocked in four runs, scored twice and belted his third homer.
