The 2022 regular season ends
After 162 games, it's time for the Wild Card Games, the Division Championships, and the World Series.
The top finisher in the American League turned out to be the Houston Astros (106-56), the New York Yankees (99-63), the Cleveland Indians (I'm so sorry) the Guardians (92-70). Over in the National League, it is no surprise who the top dog is as the LA Dodgers ran the table from start to finish and ended the regular season with the best record in baseball at 111-51. Second best: the Atlanta Braves (101-61), while the St. Louis Cardinals were third with a 93-69 record.
Some very good ball teams are listed above.
Now it's on to the postseason.
Wild Card games will commence on Friday: Seattle at Toronto, Tampa Bay at Cleveland, San Diego heads for New York to tangle with the Mets and the Philadelphia Phillies head for St. Louis.
It's going to be a great month.
