Kathryn

The world is in chaos, yet the autumn leaves will soon filter through the landscapes of the Northeast and race down the beautiful streets of Vermont and swirl like little twisters along the highways, up and down the East Coast. In the Southwest the desert will glow a strange emerald green for a change, replacing the normal brown and dusty terrain, which most residents have become accustomed to during these early days of September.

A lot has happened since Kathryn left this earth in April of 2018. My mother was born in 1927. She witnessed her share of disasters and events -- The Great Depression, The Roaring Twenties, World War II, the crazy, wonderful footprints in time of the 1950s, the 1960s and another five decades followed... long before she left this Earth.

She was a survivor. The few good qualities or attributes I have came from her -- the most important...maybe, is to live on, survive and battle through. Stay as long as you can...listen...learn and write it down if you have to.

Thanks, Mom.

  4. Thank you, Irma. You and all my friends at the MVD all have that special mom, or dad...or relatives we look up to. My mother was the best, just like you and all those wonderful people I had the pleasure of working with.
