The San Francisco Giants and the Los Angeles Dodgers are still putting up impressive numbers and not only own the best won-loss records in the National League West, but in all of baseball.
The Giants just keep winning and head into Monday's action with a 93-50 record, while the Dodgers, behind Max Scherzer's bid for a perfect game today (the perfecto spoiled in the eighth inning) improved to 91-53 with a 8-0 shutout over the San Diego Padres.
How the Dodgers ever lose is beyond me. Tomorrow, Clayton Kershaw comes off the DL and is back in the rotation.
The Tampa Bay Rays at 89-54 own the best record in the American League.
Just 19, or so, regular-season games remaining!
