Arizona Wildcats Baseball
Xavier Borde, a red-shirt junior left hander, pitched a two-hitter for 5 2/3 innings and the Arizona Wildcats closed out a two-game series at Hi Corbett Field tonight with a 11-1 win over North Dakota State.
Arizona, a 7-2 winner in the series opener on Tuesday night, scored four runs in the first inning tonight and added seven more for good measure as they improved to 5-0 on the season. Leadoff batter Scott Kingery went 4 for 5 for the Wildcats.
The Wildcats continue the home stand with a three-game series, beginning Friday afternoon at 3 p.m. against Rice.
