The Arizona Wildcats battled in a three-game series at Hi Corbett Field with Rice over the weekend, losing 8-5 on Friday, winning 7-6 on Saturday and falling this afternoon in 10 innings to the Owls, 6-4.

The Wildcats actually stole Game 2 as Kevin Newman stole home in the bottom of the ninth inning for a walk-off, game winner.

Arizona is 6-2 on the season and will face Oakland (Michigan) in a two-game series on Tuesday and Wednesday.
