Can the Cardinals regroup?

Arizona Cardinals Football

It hasn't been a good week for Arizona football -- as in the Arizona Wildcats, a 51-13 loser Friday to the Oregon Ducks. Now it's time for Arizona's professional team to take the field as the Cardinals (9-3) try to snap a two-game losing streak at home this afternoon as they take on the Kansas City Chiefs (7-5).

The Cardinals are clinging to a one-game lead in the NFC West and they hope to return to the win column today with the return of wide-receiver Larry Fitzgerald. If the Cardinals can stop Kansas City's running back Jamaal Charles and if Fitz can get open and haul in a couple of TD passes from quarterback Drew Stanton then chances are Arizona will walk away with its 10th win of the season.

If Charles has his day and Fitzgerald doesn't, it could be a long afternoon for the Cardinals.

My prediction: Arizona 20 Kansas City 17.

But, what do I know? I predicted my Arizona Wildcats would beat Oregon, 45-42!
