D'backs make it a dozen
The Arizona Diamondbacks get their 12th win in April as they skip by the Marlins in Miami today 9-5 and finish the first month of the season with a 12-11 record. Rookie Patrick Corbin gets the win as he moves into the Diamondbacks' pitching rotation.
The D'backs got a home run blast from Justin Upton -- a two run shot in the fourth inning, which traveled 404 feet into the left field bleachers. The D'backs led 7-0 at that point and then cruised the rest of way to finish one game over .500 for the month.
Arizona opens a three-game series at Washington tomorrow evening.
