D'backs hope to close out April with a win

It's been a so-so month of April for our Arizona Diamondbacks. The D'backs will try to close out the month with a victory tomorrow and a series win over the Marlins in Miami. A win tomorrow would give the Diamondbacks 12 wins in April to go along with 11 losses. Arizona won its second game over the Marlins today with an 8-4 win, thanks in part to a strong performance from Wade Miley, who pitched six and 1/3 innings of one-hit ball to improve his record to 3-0 on the season.
