Young, Upton battle injuries

The Arizona Diamondbacks will go for win No. 8 on the young season this afternoon at Chase Field, but they may be without their top hitter, Chris Young. Young crashed into the left centerfield wall last night in the Diamondbacks' loss to the Pittsburgh Pirates and now has a shoulder injury.

Not good news for the Diamondbacks and their starting center fielder who was leading the club with a .410 average and 13 RBI. With right fielder Justin Upton already out with a thumb injury, Mr. Gerardo Parra is moving around the outfield like a pinball.  Daniel Hudson  (1-0) will try to right the ship today as the Diamondbacks (7-4), who are two games behind the NL West leading LA Dodgers, go after a series win in the rubber game matchup with the Pirates.
