Wildcats advance to College World Series

Congrats, to the Arizona Wildcats!

Arizona (41-13) advanced to their 24th Women's College World Series with two straight wins in the NCAA Super Regional in Fayetteville, Arkansas, beating the 6th-ranked Razorbacks 10-4 on Friday and 4-1 today.

The 11th-seeded Wildcats hit four home runs on Friday and Alyssa Palomino-Cardoza took care of things today with a two-run shot in the fifth inning to give Arizona a 2-1 lead, while Carlie Scupin singled in two runs in the sixth to ice the win and a trip to the College World Series in Oklahoma City.

Hanah Bowen pitched all seven inning on Friday to pick up the win and today Alyssa Denham got the job done with another seven-inning gem.

Congrats, Wildcats!

Arizona to face #3 Alabama (50-7) in the first round of the Women's College World Series on Thursday.
