As we head toward the middle of May, half of the 30 teams in Major League Baseball are struggling to remain above the .500 mark. My goodness, if you are a pro and batting .250 or above, you are a keeper!
There has been four no-hitters, a fifth if you add Madison Bumgarner's seven-inning job a couple of weeks ago.
The top three won-loss records as of this morning -- the Boston Red Sox (22-14), the St Louis Cardinals (21-14) and the surprising San Francisco Giants (21-14).
