Crafty right-hander Brad Vermeer throws off-speed pitches most of the time. He rarely tosses a fastball. Somehow, Vermeer, 69, gets the job done and records his share of wins on the mound.
Monday's game at Udall Park was a perfect example of Vermeer's antics as he allowed just two runs in a seven-inning game en route to a 15-2 win for Team Blue over Team White.
Way to got, Brad!
