There will be a seventh game

2017 World Series

Game 6

There will be a seventh game.

The Dodgers extended the World Series to a seventh game with a 3-1 win over the Houston Astros tonight in Los Angeles.

Justin Verlander pitched well but not well enough. Verlander threw 93 pitches in six innings of work and left the game down 2-1. Joc Pederson homered for the Dodgers in the seventh inning to give LA the 3-1 lead. Kenley Jansen pitched two shutout innings for the Dodgers.

George Springer homered for the Astros in the third inning. The two teams have hit a record-breaking 24 home runs in six games.

It all comes down to tomorrow night.
